Most of the confusion in medical travel comes from not knowing who charges for what. This page fixes that before you spend anything.
Discharge summaries, scan reports, lab results, pathology, medication list. Phone photos are acceptable to start with. For imaging we will ask for the original DICOM files later, because a photograph of a screen cannot be assessed by a radiologist.
Within 1–2 business days you get a short written reply: whether travelling is realistic, which city and department fits, what is missing for a doctor to respond. If the case is better handled at home, we say so — and we do not push a trip.
Your records are translated to clinical Chinese and English, formatted the way hospital departments expect, and submitted to a named department. We handle the correspondence and the chasing. This is our work, and this is what you pay us for.
The physician's written answer and the hospital's cost estimate are issued by the hospital. Their fees are set by them, not by us — we pass the estimate to you before any payment is discussed, and we do not take commission from hospitals.
One table, so nothing comes as a surprise later.
| What | Who charges | When |
|---|---|---|
| Initial case review | Nobody — it is free | 1–2 business days after you send documents |
| Document translation and submission | CareBridge | Agreed in writing before work starts |
| Consultation with the physician | The hospital | Quoted to you before you pay anything |
| Examinations, surgery, medication | The hospital | Hospital estimate first, then payment |
| Travel, visa, accommodation | Third parties | You pay directly; we help you arrange |
What we can promise is narrower and more useful: your file will reach a specialist who actually treats your condition, and you will understand every step before you commit.
